About
Janis King, also known as JK Grey, is the creative identity and innovator behind Take A Look into The Book, including the stories, movements, and restorative work shaping this brand. A multidisciplinary creator, JK Grey is the author and publisher of Dancing With Monkeys, a transformational narrative that blends testimony, emotional healing, and spiritual insight. At its core, the book is a modern-day depiction of King David, a story of a man who faced rejection, warfare, and internal battles, yet carried a heart that relentlessly pursued God.
For more than 31 years, JK Grey has served the veteran and senior community through compassionate Home Care services, building programs that honor dignity, independence, and connection. Soon, she will expand this legacy with Celebration, a senior day program designed to uplift, engage, and restore community through creativity and care. JK Grey founded the nonprofit Fruitful Living Enterprises (FLE).
JK Grey oversees programs designed to bring healing, restoration, and practical support to seniors, our beloved veterans, and their families and caregivers. She supports these families through charitable contributions and sponsorships to Fruitful Living, strengthening its ability to serve the community through initiatives such as the Celebration Day Program, a much-needed 6-hour respite service for family care providers. Participants receive a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack, along with meaningful social interaction that reduces isolation, lowers stress, and promotes longterm health benefits.

Take A Look Into The Book is the publishing arm dedicated to books that foster hope and healing. We’ll feature authors, artists, innovators, caregivers, and culture-shapers whose lives reflect the beauty of resilience and the power of purpose.
As a publisher, our desire is simple: that every reader finds something here that speaks to their soul. We desire that they see themselves in these pages, feeling inspired to heal, to create, and to live with renewed clarity and joy.
At the heart of our storytelling mission is The Reframe Project–– Back on Track with Impact–– a testimony-driven initiative designed to reach Gen Z, Gen X, and Baby Boomers through short, powerful tracts. These writings interrupt harmful self-talk, restore identity, and use real stories to guide readers into healing, clarity, and renewed vision.
Word Consciousness Music (WCM) feeds faith to your soul through music. Collectively, we embrace the universal language of music and promote an atmosphere of celebration with Word Grooves.™Through diversity of genres, songs, and melodies, we encourage you to sing unto the Lord with our YouTube playlists. We utilize both instrumentals and worship songs to provide you with a platform to worship Him with praise.
We believe WCM will be a music channel like nothing you have ever experienced. God created music, and He is undeniably the primary musician who takes pleasure in the praise and worship we express through song and the art of dance.
As an extension of WCM, we created Artsy Grooves to highlight visual artists. We will be featuring many artisans in the visual arts such as painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography. We believe that humans are created in the image of God, and He has instilled us with inspiration to create art.

We are building towards a future as a full-production company dedicated to launching Christian art–– short films, powerful stage plays, and original musicals–– with bold, spirit-led storytelling that moves hearts and shifts culture.
